Tour Cultural MELBOURNE, Australia

Vibrant Melbourne

We were in the city for a week and now it has my heart.

I can’t really say I did a whole lot of things though. We hung around Melbourne from mid to end of November and the city was experiencing what they call “Spring”. It was wet and raining most of the time while we were there and was decently cold, at all times.

However, the Melburnians came around all climatic obstacles and infused it’s cityscape with such character that it managed to give Melbourne a distinct personality of it’s own, unlike any other city in Australia I have been to. Wet and cold or not, the city definitely knows how to warm you from within with it’s culture, art, food and literally, with their amazing coffee blends.

We have family in Melbourne and the priority of our trip was always to spend as much time as possible with them. Given that, with families living in another city one gets an upper hand to discover places otherwise not mentioned within “tripadvisors” search under the “Top Things to do in Melbourne”, experience delicious food and cocktails at restaurants and bars other wise easily ignored on the street with so many to choose from or one that is snuggly sitting in an alley and not to mention getting your morning blends from the tried and tasted ones out of the “n” number of cafes and breakfast places in the city. In the end we all throughly enjoyed our time; bought in my brother’s 23rd birthday, visited more relatives, enjoyed a barbecue picnic on a good day and spent  some good time together as a family exploring the city and drowsing ourselves in it’s culture.

After my first experience, I too now believe that Melbourne stands true to it’s title as the cultural capital of Australia. With art inspiring every aspect of the city from the architecture to its narrow alleys hiding away hip cafes and bars to feed its deep rooted coffee and beer culture, the city has a way to keep you entertained.

Thus, there is so much to see and do in this one city today, I want to share some of the things we experienced and loved. This time I will not jot down a detailed list of things we did, as I feel unless we have explored and exploited them all throughly it doesn’t feel right to list them as my favourite and make a suggestions up here as of yet.

Hence, I have tried my best to capture the character of Melbourne in pictures and hopefully this will help you experience the city from my eyes and be inspired to take that trip to Tour Cultural Melbourne. Said that, I can’t wait to go back for more family time and food, learn more about this funky city and share more stories with you all.

  1. i live a few hours from Melbourne and it’s my favourite city in australia!! your photos capture our city so well, i’m glad you loved it here 💖

  2. A formidable share, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing somewhat evaluation on this. And he actually bought me breakfast because I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I really feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you develop into expertise, would you mind updating your weblog with extra details? It is extremely helpful for me. Huge thumb up for this weblog put up!

    1. Hi Lillie,
I am glad this post was helpful to your colleague and to you in case of that well earned treat, of course! 😀
I am working on more articles for Melbourne and they will be up soon. Hope you are following my website to be updated when I post and I will surely look into updating weblog.

  3. We fell in love unexpectedly with Melbourne also. The place also has a great sense of humor, like a restaurant called “Georges” which is all about George from the Seinfeld show.

    1. Humor, it sure does! Melbourne has steady personality of it’s own, makes it difficult to not fall for the city. 😀
